Arizona Microdermabrasion

Facial chemical peels allow the skin to breathe as it should. Aging skin does not shed dead skin cells very well, and these old, useless cells tend to build up on the upper layer of the epidermis. This buildup clogs pores and keeps adequate levels of fresh oxygen from getting to the skin. The result is dull, oily-looking skin with large pores that can make a person look several years older.

Facial peels remove this buildup of dead skin cells. The chemical peel is similar to a mask and is applied in much the same way. The facial area is covered with the chemical agent, which is then allowed to harden. Once a sufficient amount of time has passed, the chemical mask is peeled from the facial area, revealing the smooth, new skin that was hidden under all that organic debris.

Facial Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion for Glowing Skin

Another technique medical spas use to strip away old skin cells is known as microdermabrasion. This technique is similar to a chemical peel, except that an exfoliating agent is massaged into the skin to remove the debris. Once debris is removed, the pores can breathe properly and begin to shrink, making facial skin look younger and smoother.
