Hair grows in 3 cycles: If the desired result is to be hair free than the hair will need to be treated in each active growth cycle in order to achieve this. Treatment times can vary from five minutes on up depending on the size of the area and the type of equipment being used. Since Nu U only uses state of the art equipment, the amount of time it takes to be treated is not only quicker but the efficacy is greater with a true no pain factor. During treatment the hair follicles absorb the laser light, which damages the follicle and destroys its ability to re-grow. Two to three weeks after the hair sheds from the follicle, and the area treated is left somewhat bare for two to three more weeks. When the hair does come back it is significantly less, and it is growing much slower. It is at this time that the entire process is repeated until you have achieved your goal of having little or no hair left. |
